Vincent M. Dubiansky is President of Farm & Timberland Services, Inc. of Albany, Georgia. Farm & Timberland Services, Inc. is a professional land appraisal and consulting firm. His primary responsibilities and experience include the appraisal of agricultural, forest, and agribusiness properties. Other responsibilities include management consulting for timberland, and financing consulting for farms, timberland and agribusinesses.
Mr. Dubiansky is also experienced in the use of computer modeling in projecting the future growth and yield of forest stands, and cash flow projections for agricultural and timberland enterprises. Mr. Dubiansky has appraised numerous agricultural properties and specialized properties such as hunting plantations, large dairies, poultry production facilities, cotton gins, and vegetable packing and cooling facilities.
Before forming Farm & Timberland Services, Inc. in 1998, he was Vice President of Agricultural and Timberland Appraisals for a private consulting firm for ten years. Prior to that, he was a Resource Analyst for a major U.S. forest products company, where he provided technical support to the field staff in the areas of yield estimation, growth prediction, biometrics, and alternatives evaluation. Dubiansky’s earlier experience includes ten years as a Planning Forester, District Forest Manager, and Assistant Forest Manager for two major forest products organizations in southern Africa. His experience included research with and the management and valuation of large plantations of slash and loblolly pines.
He is a native of New York State. He received a B.S. Degree, cum laude, in Forest Land and Resource Management form the College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University; and a M.S. Degree, cum laude, in Agricultural and Forest Management from the University of Natal. He is an accredited member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and a Georgia State Certified Appraiser. He is a member of the American Society of Agricultural Consultants. He is also a Registered Forester and a member of the Society of American Foresters.
